Students from the Department of Landscape Architecture at Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University conducted a field study as part of the Project I course, within the scope of the Single-Residence Landscape Design Project.
Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Meliha AKLIBAŞINDA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslıhan TIRNAKÇI, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra ÖZHANCI, and Research Assistant Duygu KARABIÇAK GÜNAYDIN, the students had the opportunity to examine the project site on location and evaluate its natural and physical characteristics.
The field study aimed to improve students’ skills in understanding the site, analyzing existing conditions, and incorporating the data they collected into the landscape design process. The study also contributed to reinforcing students’ theoretical knowledge through practical experience and encouraged them to approach the design process from a site-oriented perspective.
