Our fundamental mission is to provide a contemporary learning environment in the field of Landscape Architecture that aims to cultivate individuals who question, conduct research, think critically, and apply knowledge in practice. Through an interdisciplinary and environmentally conscious approach, our department aims to contribute to the creation of sustainable environments that enhance human quality of life by conducting scientific and applied work in landscape planning, design, conservation, and site management. Furthermore, preserving and utilizing the natural, cultural, and historical landscape assets of the Cappadocia Region, as well as developing scientific research, projects, and applications that support regional development, rank among our department's priority objectives.

Our vision is to become a pioneering education and research institution in the field of Landscape Architecture that is recognized at both national and international levels and generates scientific, innovative, and sustainable solutions to natural and cultural environmental challenges. The department aims to contribute to scientific advancement and professional development by training landscape architects who integrate theoretical knowledge with technical practice, adopt a research- and application-oriented approach, and possess a strong sense of environmental sensitivity and social responsibility.
